I don’t know if this is my favorite of this series, but I think it is the one I related to the most. Kieslowski tells a story of grief that is very real here, and the detachment from life itself that Julie struggles with doesn’t alienate the audience. You want to care for her, and she could not care less. It’s a beautiful film, visually as well.
